Class Action News

Propecia & Proscar Class Action
We are pleased to report that we were successful in our application to have the Propecia/Proscar lawsuit certified as a class action. In his decision, Mr. Justice Punnett states that "a class action is the preferable procedure with which to resolve the claims." He also sets out who is included in the lawsuit as: "All male persons who were prescribed Propecia and/or Proscar for male pattern hair loss in British Columbia prior to November 18, 2011." Paxil Class Action
Further to the court hearing in October, Justice Nathan Smith of the BC Supreme Court certified the Paxil class action on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012. This is a positive step in a long process to gain justice for those families effected by the devastating consequence of this drug. Paxil has been associated with an increased risk of adverse cardiovascular complications for newborns when taken by women during pregnancy. Read more.
