Fleetwood Sausage Class Action
Introduction
The class action suit against Fleetwood Sausage was brought on behalf of victims of Canada's worst food related outbreak of E.Coli. The source of the outbreak was traced to a Fleetwood product, that was recalled, but not before more than 150 people were infected.
The settlement of approximately $800,000 was paid to the victims in varying amounts depending upon the severity of their illness.
