Jaw Implantsclass action

Settlement Documents

The class action was brought against Instrumentarium Corporation Inc., the Canadian company who distributed Teflon coated jaw implants without obtaining Health Canada approval.

Teflon implants break down in the jaw causing bone degeneration and a lifetime of pain and reconstructive surgeries.

The $10 million settlement, reached in 1999, covered up to 400 Canadians who were implanted with the defective product.

The following is a list of Settlement Documents relating to the Teflon Jaw Implants Class Action.
